General warranty terms and conditions for Overmax branded products.


Important information: The service center does not accept claims submitted in person at the company's headquarters at A. Kręglewskiego 1. You must complete a service request using the online form and send the equipment to the address indicated after completing the form.


Warranty conditions:

  1. The Overmax brand, with its registered office in Poznań at A. Kręglewskiego 1, guarantees the proper operation of the equipment in accordance with the technical and operating conditions described in the user manual.
  2. The warranty is granted for a period of 24 months from the date of sale. In the case of purchasing the device for a company (VAT invoice), the warranty is granted for a period of 12 months.
  3. The warranty is valid in the country in which the purchase was made.
  4. Disclosed defects will be removed free of charge during the warranty period by the Authorized Manufacturer Service Center.
  5. In the case of purchasing goods online, the Customer (the claimant) is obliged to submit a claim via the website www.overmax.eu and deliver the damaged equipment to the Authorized Manufacturer Service Center at their own expense. Otherwise, the claim should be submitted and the product delivered to the point of sale where the purchase was made. Information regarding the repair is provided at the place where the claim was submitted (Instructions for completing the claim form and a link to the form are available HERE).
  6. Any defects or damage to the equipment disclosed and reported during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge within up to 21 business days, however, in justified cases (importing spare parts from abroad), this period may be extended by a further 30 days.
  7. Defects or damage to the equipment should be reported, and the faulty equipment should be delivered to the service center, immediately after they are discovered.
  8. The warranty for LCD displays, touch screens, and batteries is 6 months from the date of purchase. For displays from 2.5" to 10.1", up to 3 defective pixels (white, black, green, red, blue) are permissible.
  9. The warranty for accessories included with the devices (e.g. chargers, remote controls, keyboards, mice, headphones, cables) is 3 months from the date of purchase.
  10. In the case of an unjustified claim (a claim regarding equipment that is fully functional or mechanically damaged), the person submitting the claim will be charged transport costs.
  11. The Customer has the right to have the equipment replaced with another one having the same or similar technical parameters if the service center determines that the defect cannot be removed.
  12. The service center shall not be liable for data loss.
  13. The warranty will be honored only if the claimed device is accompanied by a description of the damage, all accessories that the customer received when purchasing the device, and proof of purchase containing the date of sale.
  14. The warranty does not cover: mechanical, electrical, thermal damage and liquid ingress, or intentional damage to the equipment and defects resulting therefrom, malfunctions and visual defects arising as a result of use, damage resulting from improper use and use contrary to the user manual, defects that do not affect the proper operation of the device, signal loss caused by the distance from the transmitter or an incorrectly executed antenna installation, and damage to equipment that was not delivered to the service center in safe packaging.
  15. The service center may refuse to repair defects in the case of damage to the warranty seal and signs of unauthorized repair.
  16. If the defect is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, the service center may offer a paid repair service.
  17. The Authorized Service Center checks each claimed item of equipment for proper operation.
  18. BrandLine Group Sp. z o. o. and the Authorized Service Center shall not be liable for any damage or losses arising from the inability to use a device that is under repair.
  19. Failure to collect the equipment from the service center within 3 months may result in storage charges being applied until collection.
  20. Delivering incomplete equipment or failing to provide appropriate packaging is equivalent to the buyer not fulfilling the warranty conditions and may constitute grounds for refusing to repair the equipment or extending the repair period.
  21. If a product is sent for service repair and no defect is found, the consumer will be charged the cost of an expert assessment (hourly rate: PLN 70 net).
  22. If a product sent to the service center is found to be fully functional, and the reason for its improper operation was a discharged battery, the service center will charge the consumer the cost of the expert assessment service in the amount of PLN 25 net.
  23. The warranty for the product does not exclude, limit, or suspend the buyer's rights arising from statutory warranty.
